Covid 19 Pandemic:

Project 1

As on 28th April, the Bengaluru Team has completed seven phases of Dry Rations Distribution in North and South Bengaluru. This is part of our social service initiatives during the ongoing pandemic that is affecting thousands of daily wage and low income workers.

They are facing unemployment and hunger issues due to the nationwide lock down. Each kit has two weeks of dry rations consisting of basic essentials viz Rice, Dal, Wheat flour, Edible Oil, Suji, Sugar and Salt. In addition, 500 reusable cotton face masks have been distributed to improve social hygiene and enhance personal protection.

Project 2

As part of Project 2, Asha health workers and police personnel who form the front line crew in contact tracing are to be provided with Abhinandan kits. This kit has 2 face masks, 2 sets of gloves, a hand sanitizer & one plastic face shield. A small gesture to thank these tireless warriors.
