Our Philosophy

"To feed a hungry mouth is equal to 10 days of Tapasya"

The Satsang Seva Mission is founded on the teachings of spiritual teacher and guide, Sri M. Conversant with teachings of most major religions, Sri M’s teachings seek to transcend the outer-shell of all religions by exploring the core and nurturing the innate goodness in every human being.

Service or Seva then towards our fellow beings, becomes a foundational tenet for leading a spiritual life.

“Spiritual evolution is not diverse from regular living. Intervals of solitude are necessary but you cannot shut yourself totally. The world around you is your touchstone to spiritual practice.”

Our aim is to provide timely support for the need of the hour. Our extensive experience in providing nutritious mid day meals to children, health care, and education and skill development, combined with our large volunteer base helps us respond to humanitarian crises with speed. From far to reach tribal villages, to pleas for help from marginalized communities in cities, the Satsang Seva Mission serves personally and with compassion.

Our response to the COVID-19 pandemic reflects this philosophy. As we list the kinds of Seva provided by our volunteers, we acknowledge a profound sense of gratitude for being given this opportunity to be of service.
