Serving with Love, Honoring the Divine
On the sacred occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami, the Madhu Ki Rasoi team served 16,816 devotees during the bhandaras (community feasts) at Mathura and Vrindavan reaching out to twice as many devotees as the previous year.
From early morning until late night, meals were served with much love and devotion. The day began with tea, poha, and fruits for all pilgrims. Those who were fasting received helpings of dahi-aloo. Savory pakodas and refreshing rose milk was offered until noon to support the steady influx of pilgrims. From noon, the team offered a hearty meal of hot puris with sabzi and sweet halwa. The joyful sound of bhajans and chants of “Radhe, Radhe” filled the air as pilgrims streamed past the food counter, with even the gentle rain seeming to bless the divine service.
The following day, as devotees began their journey home, they were lovingly served the traditional meal of kadhi-chawal.
This act of feeding was a heartfelt offering at the feet of Lord Krishna.
The Madhu Ki Rasoi team expresses profound gratitude to all the donors who made this sacred annadaanam seva possible.
