Bhaskar Project
Maharashtra
Marking a major milestone in educational equity, the Bhaskar Project has been successfully completed across 7 target schools in the region, bringing digital learning to remote classrooms. Established in collaboration with the Indivish Foundation in Mumbai, the initiative equips schools with e-learning TV sets, specialized software, and accessories covering Grades 1 through 10. By supplementing traditional teaching with engaging audio-visual modules, the project aims to ensure retention of students in school and enhance the quality of education. With over 3 years of sustained support from volunteers and donors, the Bhaskar Project has now expanded across 38 schools in remote areas like Ratnagiri, Murbad-Shahapur, Gadchiroli, and Pune, positively impacting over 6,625 students.
